Enrollment in the Introduction to Textile Design course at the University of Wisconsin-Madison inspired me to craft an obsessive surfaces garment. I used repetition of stuffed cotton pockets to manipulate the thermal-knit fabric prior to crafting the beanie, aiming for a more fitted look. Through this garment, I learned how to hand embroider on fabric.
